Hi Dave,

Tried UNIVBE 5.1 and 5.3 (core of Display Doctor) over DR-DOS 7.02 with an
OAK OTI77 and a Paradise SVGA 1D. They either:

  a) provided the same functionality that the proprietary VESA tsr's of
the cards (but with a footprint of 10k for UNIVBE versus 3k or so) or
  b) proceeded to crash erratically (much more so with the Paradise card). I

Only advantage I could find about UNIVBE was it knows what a Hualon SVGA
chipset is, but I never really cared since as soon as I could, I upgraded from
the Hualon
to the OAK and then on to the Paradise.
