Hi, I need some info on setting up a new computer. As I am not
dealing with a large chain, I can actually GET a new PC WITHOUT Win98.
I currently do not run Win 95, but I will likely install it when I get
the new PC. My main concern is that I would still prefer to run most,
if not all of my DOS program from either DR DOS or PC DOS 2000(currently
installed). Can anyone tell me if SoundBlaster makes a sound card that
will still run under straight DOS? And still function within Win 95??
And what about video cards??? I know enough to avoid Winmodems, and
printers, but the rest is a real pain (or Window Pane) Any input will
be appreciated, but I have NO intention of running everything from
Windows, and NOT 98--I like my browser on the SIDE!!! <LOL> -Dean Dancey
