|Well, you can find parts of LAN Workplace for DOS shipping with 
|Caldera's DR-WebSpyder, and I have been told that Caldera is also 
|preparing a separate TCP/IP bundle based on LWP for DOS. So, 
|installing DR-WebSpyder's networking stuff might help (though 
|still a crude solution for offline mailing...)

   That sounds very interesting.  Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely
check it out.  I've been meaning to give DR-WebSpyder a try anyway...  :)
