You probably have mixed upo the files. The DR-DOS FDISK obviously
does not contain any Microsoft copyright strings... ;-)
In general, please have a look at the PATH setting in your
environment, maybe it just points to the MSDOS directory. Try to
run the DR-DOS FDISK by giving the full path to the files.
> C:\TEMP>debug
> -nfdisk.exe
> -l
If you load it this way, DEBUG will load either FDISK.EXE in
the directory C:\TEMP\, or if there is no such file, it will
check APPEND settings to search for the file somewhere else.
PATH does not have any effect here. In this case, remove
APPEND from your configuration, or change its settings not
to use this auto-search-in-other-dir feature.
