I was holding off replying 'til I found some docs I read earlier on this
but I can no longer find them. This only applies to the old Win95.
In one of the readme or setup text files it was mentioned that
one could install Win95 without upgrading/installing over an
existing DOS (and Windows 3.x). In doing so '95 would automatically
create a dual boot setup. So in this case it could probably
be put on a separate partition.

I don't know if that applies to the later '95 (OEMSR2?) which isn't
(apparently) compatible with FAT16/older DOS installations.
Don't quote me on this. Hopefully someone has more detail on 
this.
