   Hi, I'm new to this list.  I've recently checked out DR-DOS and I'm
very impressed with what I've seen so far.

   Agreed.  I would choose cut-and-paste between tasks over multi-tasking
any day.  Task-switching is generally quite sufficient for my needs
anyway.  Being able to choose between task-switching with cut&paste on the
one hand and multitasking on the other should be an easy solution as you
say, if it's not possible to have multi-tasking and cut&paste.
