Subject:	DrDos really free?

I raised this question a few months ago and did not get a definitive
(to me) answer.

The current wording of the DrDos license seems to indicate that
non-commercial, individual, users may download and distribute DrDos
for free.  They may then ``evaluate it'' for a ``reasonable'' time,
whose length is to be decided by the user. After the user-defined
(!) reasonable trial period, the individual is expected to pay
for it.

If I was studying to be a lawyer, I could simply define ``reasonable
time'' to be from now to my demise, and continue to ``try'' DrDos
for the rest of my natural life.

If I wanted to be honest I would say that Caldera wants private 
individuals to pay for DrDos, but they are presently reluctant to
come right out and say this in specific license terms. Yet many
web pages continue to claim that DrDos if free for private use.


Does anyone presently know what obstacles are in the way of settling
this issue, so this hedging language will change, one way or the other?
