Subject: windows equivalents

I want to move to Linux (or Dr-Dos for that matter); Anyone know if there
are Linux equivalents of the following Windows software?

1) Word processor like MS-Word (or is there a version of LaTex with GUI).
2) Eudora (or something that will use or convert the mailboxes).
3) WinZip.
4) FreeAgent usenet newsreader.
5) A file conversion utility to convert Word, Excel and other files.
6) Sidekick 2.0 personal information manager.
7) A PGP shell.

Failing that is there a reliable way of running Win95/8 software on Linux?

Also is there a Linux GUI that will run on less than 4Mb of RAM (I have an
un-upgradable laptop)?

Thanks,
Kenn.
