Its the windows swap file. The way to prove it is to delete it (from DOS)
and start Windows, you will get an error stateing that the swap file is
corrupt...blah...blah...blah. Just create a new one after that go to your
control pannel and check the size under the 386 enhanced area (vertual
memory). Windows offten reconends a swap file 3 or 4 times the size of your
physical memory, if you have less than 8 megs ram that is ok but if you have
16 megs or more just make it 1 or 2 times or less.
You can change the size Windows recomends by changeing the PAGEOVERCOMMIT=
line in the [386ENH] section of your system.ini.
