Subject: | DRDOS Access Denial (at root) when trying to Upgrade |
Subj.: "Access Denied" Result: Can't install upgrade When denied: At the root level all attempts to copy, edit, or create files or create directories. Both CHKDSK and PC-Tools-DiskFix report that the FAT is fine. Seems like the root became protected somehow. Immediate Q: How to use ATTRIB (or whatever) to check permissions on the root? Next Q: HardDrive (re)Format needed? Mike Berens, CSQE
