Hi all.

I was wondering what is to come in DRDOS?

Is there a plan of improvements for the product?

Some of the things I would like to see are:
A ppp stack that would be usefull for programmers to write programs
that could talk to that stack. they would not have to know every thing
about the net.
Right now people have many programs but, they are created with buggy
stacks and thus never improved.
I also think a text mode ftp client would be great.
One product I think could be great is the www server for DOS.
But, the author is gone and nothing is happening with the program.
BOA for DOS.
I would also like to see some apps that would make the DOS platform
useable for the desktop.
I know about newdeal but, I mean something with DOS in a package.
I also think that support for the windows printers, modems, etc is the
key.
If we don't solve that problem the hardware will leave DOS behind.
I also think a mp3 player would be nice I know about dosamp but, how can
it work with the net?
There are so many programms started but, never continued.
What about some .wav recorders and players?
Any ways just some ideas.

I wish I could program much better ... I would add some code to the
project.

Last question for you'all.
Will DOS BECOME just a simple GUI?
I sure hope the text mode will stay for ever.
Thanks
Sam
