Vladivar was the codename for the memory manager used in NWDOS
and after, i.e. OpenDOS.

The DRDOS 6 memory manager was called Smirnoff, but it was ditched for
Vladivar, because a rewrite was needed for the multitasking. (Hence the
current memory manager is technically in version 1.xx, even though it is
called version 3.xx.)

Matthias is probably referring to Vladivar as emm386 in multitasking
mode, because it can also run in singletasking mode.
