Subject: Re: saving msdos as backup

Basicly what I did was before installing DR make a M$dos boot disk, put
sys.com on it and copies of your config.sys and autoexec.bat

Install DR dos, dont worry it wont touch your dos directory (it makes its own)

If everything works fine use pkzip to zip your current dos directory onto
floppys or just store it someplace on your hdd

If you ever need to go back to M$dos just boot from the M$dos boot disk,
type sys c:, copy your config and autoexec to the c drive. Unzip the stored
dos directory. Reboot and you are back to M$dos
