Then you actually have all you need to install DR-OpenDOS 7.02
on your harddisk. (To produce a floppy disk set, you need DOD702.EXE instead).
However, it s true, in the week after Christmas there have been problems
downloading the files from the UK site, but not from the US FTP server.

The weak files (from the UK web server) had the same date/time stamp
as the proper files (from the US FTP server), and even the same sizes,
but still the CRCs weren t correct. The problem should have gone since
some time. For reference, here are the valid XDIR checksums for the files:

Of course, not all download problems are related to this... However, if you
don t get these checksums for your files, you won t get happy with OpenDOS...
