I'm having problems getting OpenDOS to recognize my hard drive. I've
tried using OpenDOS 7.02 (final release, not a beta) on both my
computers. It works fine with LOADER when I install it on the hard
drive. But I want to be able to boot OpenDOS from a disk. When I do boot
from a disk, and try to access drive C:, I get an "Invalid Drive"
message. I've monkeyed around with LASTDRIVE, DRIVPARM, and DRIVER.SYS,
but none work. I have this problems with both of my computers. One is a
Pentium with Windows 95, the other is an 8088. The Pentium came with a
1.6 GB hard drive, already formatted. The 8088 has a 32 MB hard drive,
formatted with MS-DOS 6. The only thing I can think of is that OpenDOS
doesn't recognize the hard drive partitions. Anyone else have any ideas?
