Win95 includes quite a bit of networking capabilities - so there's
little problem there software wise.

OpenDOS includes network capability as well, unfortunately Personal
Netware is not compatible with any of the networking included with
Win95, and I believe that it's pretty difficult to get working under
Win95.

Check out http://carol.wins.uva.nl/~leeuw/samba/dos.html for great
information about the various DOS network clients available - many of
which are available for download off the Internet.

For hardware, I'd suggest a couple of inexpensive 10BaseT
(twisted-pair) Ethernet cards - for 2 workstations you won't need a hub
if you get the correct cable (the Ethernet equivalent of a null modem
cable).
