It turns out the OpenDOS loader does allow MS- and OpenDOS to coexist in
the same partition. Install MS-DOS as usual, then manually copy IBMBIO.COM
and IBMDOS.COM into the root, COMMAND.COM into a subdirectory. Create
DCONFIG.SYS and AUTODOS7.BAT by hand, then run LOADER.COM. Not documented
very well.

Problems:  (1) there doesn't seem to be any way of making MS- the default;
you either make Caldera DOS the default, or have no default and be forced
to choose at each boot. (2) I haven't yet figured out any way to make
OpenDOS and IBM DOS coexist yet, since the boot files have identical
filenames.
