WebSpyder sounds like what you want. Another possibility is to run
Linux (with OpenDOS running under Linux via dosemu) because there are
lots of good networking options there (and on a 486 performance will be
an issue). But you'd probably need a good set of documentation about
networking (and running OpenDOS under Linux) - and I think this is
something that is lacking at the moment. There certainly is good
documentation on using OpenDOS's own networking (Personal Netware), but
you have to search far and wide for all the bits to explain PPP,
TCP/IP, mail, etc.
Perhaps "far and wide" is an overstatement, but it would be nice if
there were a periodic posting here (and additions to the OpenDOS help
system) that explained where to find such things. [No, I'm not
volunteering; it only sounded like it!]
