Subject: Re: RE: Problem Getting AUTOEXEC to Run at Boot

MS-DOS hasn't IBMBIO.COM and IBMDOS.COM (instead are IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS).
But it has own COMMAND.COM. Please check for your COMMAND.COM version
(a) Typically the creation time of MS-DOS 6.22 system files is 6.22, of
Novell DOS - 7.00 etc. b) This file must contain the string
'Copyright Microsoft' or '(C) Microsoft' if MS and 'Caldera' if OpenDOS).

Did you try the COMMAND.COM from Novell DOS?
