 Hi !

I'm trying to set a network with fileshare with OD7.02 and using my Cobol
Level II Programs.

I do have a problem with the share (for sharing cobol files), that cobol
should receive a Hex number when receiving data from the opened file by
other computer, that in other OS (Unix 3.2, Openserver 5, Novell 4.11,
Novell 3.12, Novell 2.12, this i do have tested it) is the Hex "9D", and it
is receiving a "9A", so when i access to file already open and get a record,
both call the record without any error, but the problem is when i do write
the record, because the other user may be doing the same, so it writes the
last one. (Note: the LOCK command on Cobol is defined, so i can not change
it, to accept other Hex #.

Anyone as already had some error with the SHARE (or the NET commands) ???
or can you tell me if the best way to do it.

Thank you !
