You are complaining that modern VAXen have more memory installed than
old VAXen? What does that have to do with C?

VMS has historically used all available high-level languages for the
utilities. Rumor has it that a goal of the VMS team was to have at least
one crucial system utility written in each language so that management
could not unbundle the runtime libraries for the languages from the
operating system.

Looking at the listings for VAX/VMS 6.1, the bulk of the utilities are
still in Bliss. How can C be responsible for code bloat of Bliss code?
