RxDOS:
-----
RxDOS is a clone opertaing system written by Michael Podanoffsky for his
book
"Dissecting DOS." This code is available from the site but may not be
freely redistributable. Check licensing terms at the RxDOS web page.
The official website is at URL:
http://world.std.com/~mikep/rxdos-page.html
FreeDOS:
-------
FreeDOS started in 1994 as an effort to support DOS after Microsoft
discontinued MS-DOS.
The coordinator is:
M. "Hannibal" Toal, <hannibal AT alaska DOT net>.
The official website is at URL:
http://www.freedos.org/
Also, I have DOS-C/FreeDOS kernel specific information at URL:
http://www.iop.com/~patv
Subscription for the mailing list at:
http://www.webmonster.net/lists/#fd-dev
There are other commercial MS-DOS clones, but I haven't looked at them.
I think there may be links to them at www.freedos.org. I know they have
a link to Caldera there.
