Subject: regain logical drives
Reply-To: mpircher AT biosys DOT net

Hi,

Win95 (don't ask me how) deleted all information for the logical
drives in an extented partition.

ODOS fdisk reports that there are no logical drives within
that extented partition. Someone suggested me that I just
have to recreate the drives, but as far as I know OD fdisk formats
drives on creation. (and, I don't have the exacts sizes anymore...)

So, does anyone one how to regain my logical drives without
data loose? Maybe there's a way to disable formatting? Or
is there a tool that makes the job for me? Perhabs it's enough
to copy a MBR backup onto the actual one?

thanks,
Martin
