Um, until you use the 'CALL' batch file function thigummy.
I use this command several times in AUTOEXEC.BAT and I also
step through at boot time quite frequently.

The batch file invoked by 'CALL' lets me answer [yn] to each
line, but as soon as control returns to the calling AUTOEXEC.BAT
then I no longer am prompted about executing each line and
the rest of AUTOEXEC.BAT is run normally.

This is, to say the least, frustrating and IMHO qualifies as
a bug.
