Maybe the solution is to just create & bundle in:

LinuxEMU, a pseudo-UNIX envirionment that allows you to
mount and unmount various file system, use Berkley sockets,
do virtual multitasking, and run your favorite ELF programs.
[ofcourse its all a virtual machine and slow as glass,
	but it "might happen"]

Ofcourse the question is then raised, either:

1.) Why bother running OD at all.. since with the Dos source code
DOS-EMU is bound to become 100% (or at least 98%) fully MS-DOS
	compliant.

Answer?	Opendos is Smaller that a basic Linux system
and your are running it on a machine that can't spare
the disk space / memory. If so then won't making it more
		Unix compatible make it useless?

2.) why bother running Linux at all.. since you could run most
of your favorite Linux software.. (ummm let me think :) and
still maintain your HISTORIC primary DOS environment.

Answer? Because it won't be 100% Linux compat, and
the multitasking limitiations and the like make it
next to useless. Also it doesn't exist yet.
