I agree. Although POSIX compliance (Alaric, spare me!!) would be nice - it 
would make porting software much easier.

I hear about Linuxconf from a second person now, and you are also pleased 
with it - I think I will finally give it a shot! Maybe we will implement a 
similar thing for DOS?
