Is it just me, or does everyone have problems with
accessing caldera's web pages via LYNX. I connected to them and
the status line said "Read 512 bytes of 3940" or something like
that, then "Read 2048...", then went up and up to
"Read 3942 bytes of 3940" and then froze until I hit the Z key to
stop it. Nothing was displayed. Lynx didn't freeze, just the
page download froze. If you didn't notice, the amount downloaded
exceeded the amount listed as the total by 2 bytes. This
happened on ALL caldera's pages that I tried to access and only
in Lynx. I tried Netscape and it worked fine.

What is this "everything has to be graphical and incompatible
with text browsers" concept? I've got no problems making
personal webpages that are complicated, yet still support LYNX.
Even ones with image maps still work. Just not Caldera's. I
checked this out on 16 different UNIX hosts all running different
versions of LYNX too, so it is not just my machine and is not
just LYNX. I haven't analyzed their page source, but don't feel
I should have to.

I just tried to access the page listed as where the source for OD
is, and I got a blank page that said:

[LINK]

And that is it!!!!!!!!! I'm almost positive that if I look at it
in Netscape, it will be full of graphics that take 30 minutes to
download.

Please pardon my frustration, but I'm frustrated! Come on
Caldera! Support text mode! OpenDOS is text mode!

Sincerely,
A slightly disgruntled but otherwise happy Caldera advocate.
