Won't happen IMHO. That would require too much work and practically
implementing a new compiler from scratch. DJGPP has been created on 32-bit and
even 64-bit machines and not on 16-bit oldies. Don't forget that the main
source is for Unix, DJGPP is "just" a port - DJ doesn't write it from scratch.
You cannot expect GCC guys to work on a product they are not going to use.
