Why bother? Just call the opendos one "DCONFIG.SYS". OpenDOS
looks for this first and uses it instead of CONFIG.SYS. Then
specify "ODEXEC.BAT" as a command line option to COMMAND.COM or
4DOS in the SHELL statement in DCONFIG.SYS and use it instead of
AUTOEXEC.BAT.
SHELL=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM /P:C:\ODEXEC.BAT
That should solve the problem for you.
