id wont be supporting DOS anymore (check out john carmacks finger message
johnc AT idsoftware DOT com), just as most other companies wont be supporting DOS
anymore either. Its sad, but Windows has taken over, and I can't think of
any easier way myself to write fast hardware accelerated graphics code than
using Windows... I prefer DOS to Windows anyday, but its now a thing quickly
passing us by and dying on the big corporate front... :(
