You mean something like:

[begin boot log 03-28-1997]
[begin config.sys processing]
this
that
[begin autoexec.bat processing]
more
stuff
[end boot log 03-28-1997]

While we're at it, we could also add time stames within the various result
captures, by comparing the precommand start and the following, we could
easily determine why the machine is taking five minutes to boot!
