Make sure you have umbs enabled.  I think you have to have 'memmax +U' in your
autoexec.bat file before it works.

I get 610,000, or 622,000 if I don't load my SCSI drivers :-).

Quemm is the devil.  OpenEMM386 can be just as bad.. but making bootdisks is a
good use for 720k disks. :-)
