It will be interesting to see what it becomes. I know a lot of
people who would like to get on the internet, but that can't
afford a $12000 computer. Win95 is NOT necessary for
Internetting, Win 3.1 internetting SUCKS BIG. Therefore, if
Caldera's GUI is successful, I'll be able to help a lot of people
get on the net for under $1000 and have a good system to boot.

Well, I've never seen it, but if it works good and does the job,
I'm sure that many people will benefit as described above.

I've written a program that allows you to "publish" your
dynamically assigned IP address to your webpage each time you
connect to the internet. That way other people can easily
connect to your machine. This is only useful if you WANT people
to be able to contact you or connect to you machine easily. I'm
also writing a cool server program right now that will solve the
dynamic address problem in a much better way. If you're
interested, email me directly and I'll add you to the list of
people to notify when it is up and running. The first client
will be for Linux. An OpenDOS port will follow shortly after,
and then Winxx versions when I find someone to port it.
