Or ANY mail client!  I've got about 12 different email programs
installed on Linux and don't see any "Followup" button.  Now, the
newsreader is a different story, but this isn't news, its a
mailing list.

PINE all the way.  Probably the most ported email program in
existance.  Hardly a toy eh?
