Suggest surfing on over to http://www.tourbus.com/
and looking for usenet on that site.
You'll find the usenet launching pad, and from there you don't
have to worry what newsgroups your i.s.p. carries, the only question
is how good is the web or telnet access.
The reason telnet comes into this is:
telnet sunsite.unc.edu
and log in as lynx and see where that geets you,
it's another alternative way on.
