I hate to point you in this direction, but on Microsoft's FTP site,
there is a package for making a DOS client for their networking
system.  I don't remember the exact location.  You might have
to poke around some search engines (especially try search engines
covering UseNet news) to find it.

This should work with OpenDOS.
