Some time ago, I complained that copying a file from one place to another
on my local hard disk in an MS-DOS box under Windows gave me an error of
"Source and Destination cannot be the same file".

I've just discovered that turning off Windows' 32-bit file access gets rid
of the error; i.e., now that I have 32-bit file access turned off, I can

	C:\BOOGER> COPY ARGH.PRN \WIGGLY

with no problem. With 32-bit file access turned on, this command would give
me the "Source and Destination cannot be the same file" error.

I have left 32-bit disk access on.

FWIW,

Roger Ivie
