In DOS? Or Linux?  That wont work in Linux because you can
background a process.  It would be pointless to even try it in a
multitasking OS like Linux.  Better to just not cache floppies.

Yeah, I've got that disabled in DOS right now, but how does one
do that in linux?  The mount manpage was less than informative.
