Serious black magic, you gotta convince the system it was never there to
begin with, but it's doable.  And if you've ever read up DOS programmer's
reference  4th edition (isbn 1-56529-150-6 $40.00) pages 53-57 & chapter
12, you'd see what sort of mumbo jumbo's involved.  (and that's just for
starters, it also has to take care of anything that might CALL the system
level driver you've just removed!)
