when I tried running himem.sys and emm386.exe at the same time.
Evidently opendos if it runs emm386.exe doesn't need himem.sys 
and the system wasn't at all cryptic about it either.  If the rest of the
system works that well with error messages, this is going to
be fantastic for new users when it gets to them.  Great work!
