Seriously though, I think you are really jumping the gun.  I read the
below message as saying: "I want my PC and it's programs to run
FAST.", and not "I don't want to provide blind user support".

That is the distinction that I see anyway.  Also, I see no mention of
REMOVING the current DOS/BIOS method of writing to screen so again, I
think you are jumping the gun.
