That makes sence considering what subsequently occured which was I got a c
prompt after all and did a dir and got no files and no bytes free. talk
about mixed up, I'll try your suggestion. I looked at fdisk and tot a
menu when I tried to create a bood record, It said It couldn't do it.
saga continues. I created or attempted to create a dos partition, but
allas, I'm not getting true hd access. I'll tell youyou more when I know
more. I now boot to a blank screen with a cursor. If you have further
input. please don't hesitate. It is looking more an more like I will have
to start from scratch if I am lucky.
