When you have delete protection enabled, and you wish to uninstall 
OpenDOS, the uninstall program doesn't realize it.  On my system 
(M$DOS 6.22), that simply left lost clusters, which turned out to be 
the remains of OpenDOS delete protection before the reboot.

Even so, the undelete worked fine - no other problems
