I don't know of a good SMB client for DOS other than the huge MS-LANMAN
client on their web site.  This does work, but it requires a huge amount
of memory.  I don't think it would be that much of a problem for some
enterprising hacker to port the linux samba "local" client to OpenDOS
using standard packet drivers.

(BTW, if it mentions OpenDOS, it's not off topic. ;) )
