For anyone interested you can find a large collection of spice and
xspice models/subcircuits at
https://github.com/kicad-spice-library/KiCad-Spice-Library.git

It is unclear to what extent some of these are covered by manufacturer
copyrights which prevents it from being used as a source for anything to
be distributed w/ geda. However at over 50k models/subcircuits at is
worth having in your tool box.

You will need > Python3.8 to use the supported.py script.
