Hi Rob!

It's called a "snap size" and can be set in gschemrc
configuration file:

( snap-size 100 )

At run-time you can adjust it by selecting "Options->Snap
Grid Spacing..." from the main menu.
By default it is set to 100 (in system-gschemrc).

If you want objects to be aligned to the grid, make sure
that snapping is enabled ("Options->Toggle Snap On/Off"
menu item). You can tell whether snapping is enabled or
not by looking at the status bar "Grid" indicator:
if it looks like "Grid(OFF, 100)", then snapping is
disabled ("OFF").
