Subject: [geda-user] [pcb-rnd] workaround for the user config save bug in release 1.2.6

Hi all,

yesterday Sandy Thom reported a crash that happens when the configuration
is saved to the user config and directory ~/.pcb-rnd does not exist. It
can be triggered when version 1.2.6 is installed on a system that had no
previous versions installed and the user saves the library paths to user
config from the preferences menu in the GTK HID).

The bug was fixed in svn back in October, so those who are using pcb-rnd
from svn are not affected. The next release (end of this year) will also
feature the fix.

For those who chose to use 1.2.6, there is a trivial workaround. Run the
shell command:

mkdir ~/.pcb-rnd

Regards,

Igor2
