The Xorn libraries aren't useful outside of gEDA/gaf, and since gEDA/gaf depends on Xorn, the libraries would have to be installed anyway. Please treat the additionally installed files as a part of the gEDA/gaf distribution. Once Xorn reaches a point where users would reasonably want to install it on its own, it can still be made into an extra package.
