We need to hear from peterb and vzh what plans they have for gschem in
the fork. For me it is benefitial to have a gschem which is as generic
and back-end agnostic as possible as my focus is not pcb. As usual, I
will have to wait a while to see how the current changes in the pool
of designers impact the roadmap of gschem in mainline and forkline. It
is a pity that the situation is the way it is, but somehow there must
be some kind of consolidation in the forces that drive the development
forward. If nobody wants to 'own' geda-gaf the way it is, then it will
just be a spot for roadside picnics in the future where users just
have to live with whatever is left behind.
