Not true.  At the time he asked, the gaf developers (including you) had
been silent for a while and nothing was happening in git.  Progress was
so slow I stepped in as "overseer" and approved it, just to let *some*
work move forward.

If you want to be in charge of a project, you *must* be responsive and
timely.
